Subject: information note pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 about General Data Protection Regulation.

In accordance with EU GDPR, hereby we wish to inform you that the processing of data collected will be made under the following conditions:

Under art. 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereafter referred to as the “GDPR”), Amici di Adwa Onlus informs you that your personal data will be processed in compliance with the provisions of the GDPR and of all applicable legislation concerning personal data process, in compliance with the notice appearing below.

THE DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller is Associazione Amici di Adwa onlus of Via Giacomo Matteotti 8 – 44042 Cento (FE) – tel. 0516836117 – Italian tax code 90005940383, represented by its Chairman, Carlo Farnè.

The Data Controller employs the services of external suppliers in Italy and the EU – including data processors appropriately appointed in accordance with art. 28 of the GDPR- for information technology, filing, profiling, administration, printing and posting services, strictly for the purposes described above only.

PURPOSES

The data you supply (name, surname, postal address, telephone number, tax code, e-mail address, and possibly the iban code of your bank account if you subscribe to automatic SDD direct debiting of your account) are collected to proceed with registration of any donations you may make to us, production of an annual statement of donations for use in your annual tax return, periodic mailing of updates about our projects, information on volunteer opportunities if requested, and the sending of a newsletter containing updates and information on the events we promote.

If you do not consent to processing of your data, the association will not able to supply these services.

On the occasion of events held to raise awareness and collect donations, the association collects photographic and video material documenting the activities performed, for possible publication on social networks and on the Amici di Adwa web site. These images will be handled entirely in compliance with art. 10 of the GDPR.

Please notify the association if you do not wish to appear in such material.

DATA STORAGE SECURITY AND TERM

All precautions are taken to minimise the risk of unauthorised access, erasure, modification or appropriation of data by unauthorised third parties.

The personal data collected will be kept only for the amount of time strictly necessary to fulfil these purposes, and for no longer than the amount of time permitted by law for legal reasons.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may submit a request to the Data Controller at any time by post or e-mail (segreteria@amicidiadwa.org) requesting modification or erasure of your data. We will respond to your request within 15 days.
